After Hours Service

Urgent Care and Emergencies

  • If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 000 immediately or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.
  • Urgent medical issues are always prioritised. Our practice nurse will triage patients and ensure they are seen by a doctor as soon as possible.

After Hours Medical Care

When the clinic is closed, you still have access to medical support:

  • National Home Doctor Service – Call 13 SICK (13 74 25) for bulk-billed home visits (for eligible patients).
  • Healthdirect – Call 1800 022 222 for free, 24-hour health advice from a registered nurse.

Home Visits

Home visits may be arranged by your regular GP if considered medically appropriate and necessary. Please speak with reception staff during opening hours to discuss whether a home visit can be scheduled.

Telephone Access

  • Our administrative and nursing staff are available during normal clinic hours.
  • Doctors do not accept general calls but may return a call if it is medically necessary.
  • In an emergency, calls will always be put through to a doctor.
  • Telehealth appointments are available for patients who are self-isolating or unable to attend in person. These must be booked like a regular appointment, and the doctor will call you on your nominated number.

Email Communication

Email communication is primarily for specialist correspondence and referrals. It is not suitable for booking appointments, as emails are only checked once daily and appointment slots may already be taken by the time a reply is received. To book appointments, please always contact us by phone.
